Being a mother is one of the hardest, yet rewarding jobs in the world. It’s not a 9 to 5, it doesn’t start at birth and it doesn’t finish when the kid turns 18…it’s a full time experience.
The only difference here is that you don’t actually get paid for being a mother, but you can definitely count the adorable smiles and hugs they give you.
Making sure that they are happy, healthy and alive is a part of the “job” too.
But sometimes, it feels like mothers don’t get enough credit for all the things they do in the family and they sure do a lot.
Even though some might not have any idea what they’re doing when they first have a baby, everything generally falls into place.
In the end, the joy is worth every second you waited. And often, right after the baby arrives there is a strong bond between a mother and a child.
Labor can seem like the most difficult part during a pregnancy, but it is for sure one of the most magical moments in a mother’s life.
In the United States, one-third of women deliver their babies via C-section and because of the anesthesia, the mothers are unable to move their arms to hold their newborns.
So instead, the baby is placed on the mom’s chest or next to her head. And while there are people who say that the bonding after C-sections is not special, there is one woman who has called it the best experience of her life.
Recently, a video went viral after showing a new born clinging onto her mom.
Earlier this year, Brenda Coêhlo de Souza went into labor with her daughter, Ágata Ribeiro Coêlho. She was delivered through C-section.
When Agata was brought to Brenda everyone in the operating room was immediately blown away by the touching experience when Agata met her mother on the outside for the very first time.
As soon as she was placed on her mother, the sweet newborn put her arm around her mother’s face. And it honestly looks like she is caressing her mom’s cheek.
They stayed like that until Agata started to cry, then, when Brenda began to sweetly talk to her, her loving words made her calm down.
Watching her being comforted by her mother shows the importance of bonding, even after a C-section.
It’s moments like these that can melt your heart in a matter of seconds. What do you guys think about this special moment?
