A Mother-Of-Four Sends Out A Powerful Message To Men Who Don’t Do Housework

Raising a family is a hard job, requiring a lot of patience and dedication on the part of both partners. Teamwork and communication are beyond important, and if there is neither, partners might start to resent each other. Australian blogger and mum of four, Constance Hall had a lot to say about this resentment. One day, she decided to put her thoughts on Facebook, saying that she has had enough of doing everything by herself, while raising 4 kids at the same time. Her post about men and housework went viral and it teaches us a lot about relationships.

“All you’re left with is silent resentment. And that my friends, is relationship cancer…”, is what she claims in her post.

While society has changed over the years and men have become more involved in the housework during the past decades, there are still a lot of things that need to change. Sexual harassment and unequal pay are still debatable issues, for instance. But take domestic work, on the other hand. It seems like there is still a lot to be improved. There are many men who just go to work and do no housework at home. This frustrates the tired spouse who is doing everything she can to raise a family and have a happy marriage.

Scroll down to see Constance’s post, and let us know what you think in the comments. It is more than powerful to see women react in this way. Would you do the same?
