A Natural Moisturizer Made With Argan Oil & Aloe Vera Should Be All You Need To Get Rid Of Your Pesky Acne

As we’ve talked about before, one problem that we all might face at some point in life is acne. Acne sucks, and it’s annoying to get rid of, but if it happens to you, then it just… happens. And we feel sorry for all of you who had to deal with acne at any point in your life, particularly during adulthood.

In most cases, acne occurs among teenagers, during puberty. There are plenty of products out there that claim to treat acne, but as you might expect, you can do just as good of a job at home, using ingredients you might have around the house to create a natural and effective remedy for this teenage nightmare.

One Instagram makeup artist that has been suffering from acne all her adult life is Alexandra Potora.

Here are a few images that show the periods when she was covered with acne when she was younger.

“I have oily skin & all my adult life I’ve struggled with acne. As a result, I’ve also had a hard time with body image & confidence issues. We’re not all blessed with naturally beautiful skin, but it doesn’t mean we can’t have it!” the 33-year-old makeup artist captioned her post.

Among the things she did to stop the breakouts, she listed:

Checking hormones, drinking more water, cutting down on sugar and dairy products, and countless other stuff.

But enough waffle, let’s get on and see how to make this natural remedy!

It begins with 2.5 teaspoons of aloe vera and argan oil.

To accompany the aloe vera and argan oil is 1 tsp. of Niacinamide B3 powder, 5 drops of Frankincense and Lavender oils and 5 drops of vitamin E oil to finish it off.

Combine that well, and then apply it to your face.

ACNEDIY MOISTURIZER I have oily skin & all my adult life I’ve struggled with acne. As a result, I’ve also had a hard time with body image & confidence issues. We’re not all blessed with naturally beautiful skin, but it doesn’t mean we can’t have it! Even though I still get pimples now & then (& Trust Me, my skin is NOT perfect), it’s still 1,000 times better than what it would have been without proper care. I got my hormones checked (& balanced), started drinking more , reduced processed sugars & dairy (the only food that can potentially cause acne), worked close with a dermatologist, stopped picking, started doing DIY recipes & created a military-style skincare routine: never going to bed with makeup on & ALWAYS treating/hydrating my skin. . ______________________ : 2.5 teaspoons each Argan Oil & Aloe vera. 1 teaspoon Niacinamide B3 powder. 5 drops each Frankincense & Lavender oils. 5 drops Vitamin E oil. Got everything from @amazon. . ______________________ : All the products have tons of anti aging benefits, but as it pertains to acne, here’s what: Argan oil regulates the production of sebum, which helps reduce future breakouts. Aloe Vera has anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial & anti-fungal properties. It will help heal current acne & scars. Niacinamide (aka Vitamin B3) is a powerful antioxidant that helps reduce acne by reducing redness & excess sebum. Frankincense fights acne-causing bacteria & helps control excessive oil production. Lavender oil has astringent properties that remove impurities. Vitamin E is rich in anti-oxidants that help heal acne scars, by removing damaged cells & help grow new ones. . ______________________ LIKE & w your best friend. ALWAYS test on a patch of skin 1st.
