These Nerdy Child Stars Have Certainly Grown Up


Remember all of those actors and actresses from your childhood that were always cute but nerdy? Well yeah, those have actually evolved since then. And they look a whole lot better now. The guy who played Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars Episode I is now unfortunately suffering with schizophrenia.

3. Mara Wilson

The titular character in Matilda now appears in internet videos in podcasts, and has also written two novels.

4. Madison Pettis

She got her start on Barney, and she has since then appeared in the popular quiz show, Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader?

The cute little girl who played Olive in Little Miss Sunshine has now went on to film several films including My Sister’s Keeper, Zombieland and Nim’s Island.

Like Maddison and Demi, Selena also started out as a character on Barney and Friends, and has since built herself as a highly successful actress, singer and fashion designer.

These two’s most recognizable roles were as twins Zack and Cody in The Sweet Life Of Zack And Cody. After their time with Disney, the twins went to NYU to study archaeology and video game design and have since graduated.

Her most recognizable role was as the up-and-coming singer Hannah Montana in the Disney Channel series High School Musical, and has since then evolved into the unpredictable singer we know today.

These got their start on X Factor, and that’s where they formed the band. They have since gone through a lot, branching out with their own solo acts and becoming adults in a very short timespace.

He has been laying low since his role as Michael alongside Will Ferrel in Elf. He hasn’t been in much since that but he’s done voices for cartoons and video games.

This guy was noticed on YouTube when he was only 13, and then reached worldwide popularity (and infamy) for his music video “Baby”, which as of May 2017 has 1.6 billion views and 7 million dislikes, making it the most disliked YouTube video of all time.

He started out as Sam in Love Actually, and then Simon Brown in Nanny McPhee. After growing up a little bit, he went on to play Paul McCartney in Nowhere Boy, and he was also Jojen Reed in the world-famous Game of Thrones.

And we’re finishing off with this fun-loving joker from The Amanda Show and Drake and Josh. Now 30, he’s still acting and making online comedy, and is a total stunner.
