The Stars Of Legendary British ’90s Show ‘Gladiators’ Reunited On Morning Television

Viewers couldn’t believe their eyes when the stars of hit show Gladiators turned up on British morning television show This Morning for a reunion – looking as though they’ve barely aged a day since the show was in its heyday in the ’90s. The program, which was an adaptation of the hugely popular American Gladiators, ran between 1992 and 2000 with a short revival attempted in 2008.

The team became a staple part of the weekend television schedule when the hit show first began back in October 1992.

Now, 25 years later, fans were delighted about the stroll down memory lane when the muscled idols of many a childhood made an unexpected appearance on daytime TV.

The gang joined hosts Holly and Phil to reminisce about their fond memories of the show, which pitted athletes and bodybuilders against ‘ordinary’ contenders in a host of grueling fitness challenges.

Jet (Diane Youdale), Hunter (James Crossley), Panther (Helen O’Reilly), Ace (Warren Furman) all took part in the nostalgia journey on This Morning.

The stars burst into the studio in true Gladiators fashion, flexing their still-impressive guns, high-kicking and hair flicking all over the place.

“This is beyond exciting for me,” trilled Holly.

Diane, otherwise known as Jet, who spent four and a half years on the show before she had to quit over a nasty spinal chord injury, revealed she now works as a psychotherapist.

Katie Price’s ex Warren Furman, or Ace as he was known in the show, revealed he’s now turned to God after leaving the Gladiators.

“I stepped out of the rat race and into God’s grace,” he told the hosts.

“I had a real turd in the swimming pool moment,” he joked.

“I used to think i was really blessed as a gladiator, I had all this money and the girls. I was too busy looking down at people to look up at God,” he said, revealing he’s now living a ‘blessed life’.

Former referee John Anderson said he still coaches athletes.
