Finding the perfect wedding dress is hard work, but creating one for a special person is even harder. Designers around the world have to deal with all kinds of wishes that their customers may have. Now, designers have created a custom dress for a Spanish presenter that has taken sheer to another level. The “dress”, which is an actual pantsuit, has 200 crystals embroidered into it and took over 244 hours to make! I created such a stir the moment it appeared on the internet, and you will know why when you see it!

Presenter and model Cristi Pedroche commissioned Pronovias, a Barcelona-based designer, to make this amazing piece of clothing for her to wear on New Year’s Eve. The designer brand specializes in wedding dresses and is based in Barcelona, New York, and Paris. Moreover, it is basically the biggest wedding dress company globally and some of its biggest fans include models Bar Refaeli and Camilla Alves.

The creative director of Pronovias, Hervé Moreau, got inspiration from dresses the beauty had previously worn to make this custom dress for her.
The jumpsuit is embroidered by hand with silk and chantilly thread. It also features two meters of tulle with the crystal inlaid. The main inspiration was the Caraola dress, which was part of the company’s 50th Anniversary parade.
For the designer, this dress is a milestone in his career.
“Every year has been a great experience, but this one is really special since these designs recall great and important moments of my career in Pronovias,” Hervé explains in the Pronovias newsletter.
