I know quite a few of you reading this have probably been bored while at the museum at one point or another in your life, and that’s all fine, but I’ll tell you someone who has never been annoyed while visiting an art museum, and that’s photographer Stefan Draschan.
The Wien, Austria-based photographer has a very interesting take on the subject of artistic photography: what he does is stand around in art museums and patiently waits for visitors who match the exhibitions in their physical appearance so he can snap a perfect, lively image.
The images, believe it or not, are not staged, all it takes is patience and luck. Stefan likes to visit museums in Paris, Vienna and Berlin and waits for the visitors to show up and somehow match the artwork on display. Take a look at the highlights from his portfolio in the gallery below, compiled by Bored Panda.
And even the woman’s hat matches perfectly with the picture’s frame!
