Remember The Pussycat Dolls? The US pop girl band who shot to fame in 2003? Of course you do. Well guess what, according to recent reports they will reunite in the near future! Finally, nearly 8 years after their acrimonious split, the 39-year-old lead singer of the group, Nicole Scherzinger will allegedly rejoin with Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta, Kimberly Wyatt and Melody Thornton.
So what are The Pussycat Dolls planning?
Unfortunately, nobody knows. We only have to patiently wait for an up-coming official announcement.
However, before we go on and reveal some additional juicy rumors about this up-coming reunion, let’s first talk some history.
In 1995, choreographer Robert Antin founded The Pussycat Dolls as a burlesque troupe. After attracting media attention, the group consisting of Nicole Scherzinger, Carmit Bachar, Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta, Melody Thornton, Kaya Jones, and Kimberly Wyatt, was transformed into a global image and commercial brand. Their hit singles Don’t Cha, Buttons and Stickwitu, as well as their first album PCD, achieved worldwide success. Unfortunately, despite all the fame, the group was plagued by internal conflict due to the emphasis on Scherzinger and the subordinate treatment of the other members. As a result, in 2010, the group announced their official break-up with which sadly, they broke our hearts.

Now let’s get back to the present. A group insider told The Sun: “Talk of the girls getting back together has been rife for a few years now and they have finally found a time which works for them all.”
“They are still deciding whether it will involve a full tour or just a handful of performances, but they are excited to be getting out there together again.”

Even though it is not yet known how many tour dates there will be, or what their new music will sound like, we are more than happy we have one more chance to see what they have to offer us.
And whatever that may be, it will certainly not disappoint us.
