When a Reddit user asked the online community if drivers after the age of 70 should require specialized testing to keep their licenses, a big debate flared up. But even the seniors have included themselves in it and you might be surprised by their responses.
The user didn’t clarify what he meant by “specialized driving tests,” but the proposed law is already a partial policy in some States. For example, in Texas, drivers over 85 must renew their licenses every 2 years instead of 6 and pass the vision test each time.
This requirement is known by Katie’s law and was introduced in 2007 after a 90-year-old driver missed a stoplight and killed Katie Bolka, 17, in Dallas.
But most States don’t have a special provision for pensioners behind the wheel. It’s true that not every senior driver is likely to cause a fatal accident but it’s also clear that people worry about this problem too.

What is your opinion guys? Should they be tested or not?
