Teeth were so much more fun when we were younger. When they weren’t okay, you always knew they would eventually fall out, and you’d get new ones. Which also meant there would be a visit by the tooth fairy, who somehow found it logical to pay for those teeth with cash. The stories we’d believe in!
And now that we’re adults, tartar is a true story and doesn’t usually have a happy ending if we don’t intervene. Unless we maintain a proper dental regimen. Then we stop cavities, gum disease, even our teeth falling out at an early age.
And we bet going to the dentist is not one of your favorite things. It’s stressful and can cost thousands of dollars.
But don’t despair. There’s something you can do at home, for prevention, so that you don’t have to go to the dentist for that particular problem. Which absolutely doesn’t mean that you can get away with not going to the dentist.
First, make sure you’re using a brush approved by the American Dental Association. These brushes have gone through safety and quality control tests to give you the best cleaning.
And then: baking soda.
