It’s that time of the year again! Christmas is coming! And you know what that means? Crafting! Simply walking into a store and buying the decorations is not nearly as fun as making them yourself. Plus, the satisfaction you will get from a project well done is priceless. All you need are some ideas, but that’s easy. You can find anything on the Internet, and the list of DIY Christmas decorations is just endless.
Gillian Bower is a girl from Australia who loves creating all sorts of DIY videos and tutorials and uploading them to her YouTube channel. This time, she came up with some truly adorable Christmas decorations. They are super-easy to make and will cost you next to nothing, but they will bring on the festive cheer to your home.
1. String Christmas trees
Make your own cute little Christmas tree using nothing but some yarn and glue! The combinations of different colored yarns and tiny Christmas ornaments are endless!
2. Glitter pine cones
Nothing says ‘festive’ more than glitter! Spray paint the pine cones in your favorite color and apply liberal amounts of the sparkly stuff to make them look truly magical!
3. Doily baskets
It doesn’t get simpler than this! Dip the doily in a mixture of water and glue and spread it over the bottom of a bowl! Let it dry and there you have it: a wonderful little basket you can fill with candy or ornaments!
4. Santa hats
Yay! More glitter! These Santa hats are so creative and original that they are a must for anyone who calls themselves a lover of the crafting art. All you need is a foam cone, red paint, and, of course, glitter. And don’t forget the tiny little pom-pom on top!
