Lindon Beckford is a transporter at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He is 52 years old and has been working there forever.
When Lindon was young, he used to sing at different nightclubs. He loved singing but his dreams had to stop when he was overcome by stage fright.
Being unable to sing to a lot of people, he started to sing to himself. While moving patients room to room, they started noticing his beautiful singing too.
The lullabies really help them calm and forget the reason why they are really there.
“Thank you for my ride,” said Barbara Tipon, who suffered a brain tumor. “You make me feel healthy again.”
