02 (Custom)

The 35-year-old American singer, Beyoncé, has melted millions of hearts this year in February, when she shared her pregnancy news. Back in January 7, 2012, Beyoncé gave birth to a daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, with her husband, the rapper Jay-Z. It was February again when her Instagram was overwhelmed with hearts, after she decided to announce she is pregnant with twins. Beyoncé’s maternity photoshoot has produced some of the defining images of 2017 so far, with the original post being liked eight million times in 24 hours. However, nothing could compare to the moment when we officially met the cute little twins, on Instagram, again! This time, B officially announced their names, posing in a flower-like background, melting the hearts of her fans.

The former Destiny’s Child star performed at the Grammy Awards two weeks after the pregnancy announcement, but since then, Beyoncé has stayed under the radar. She cancelled her planned Coachella performance in April. Then, the media were bombed with news about her giving birth to the twins in mid-June, with several sources being included. However, we weren’t even sure of their gender, let alone their names.

Once again, fans were desperate to wait for news. Beyoncé and Jay-Z did it again, they announced it in the most special way on Instagram, only yesterday, July 14. It’s been one month since Beyoncé gave birth to twins at a hospital in Los Angeles.

Cradling her newborn twins in her arms, Beyoncé’s message to her 104 million Instagram followers was simple. It stated: “Sir Carter and Rumi 1 month today.” The picture hit a million Instagram likes in just 23 minutes and over three million in just three hours. Currently, it is liked more than 9.3 million times.

The online community is, however, divided on this latest baby revelation. Some are understandably excited to see the new babies and learn their names. Others are a bit critical of the extravagant reveal, and don’t seem to be a big fan of the baby names.

The couple has also trademarked both names for use on fragrances, cosmetics, water bottles, and tote bags, among other things.

Regardless of what you think of the extravagant Instagram post, her fans are probably loving it! Welcome to the world, Sir Carter and Rumi!
