With her Ugly Betty days well over, America Ferrera has lived to see a transformation and recognition as one of the most talented TV show actresses of this decade.

And indeed, the thirty-two-year-old achieved what many cannot: a total dedication, both spiritual and physical to her character.

This Honduran actress, born and raised in Los Angeles, California caught the acting bug at a very young age.

She performed in several school stage productions. Her first feature debut was back in 2002 with the comedy drama Real Women Have Curves.
The role that marked her professional life came in 2006 when she was cast to play the lead in the ABC comedy drama Ugly Betty (2006-2010).

America has received numerous accolades and awards including the Emmy Award, a Golden Globe award and a Screen Actors Guild Award. Let’s get acquainted with this girl some more!
