Some people would sell their soul to look like Angelina Jolie. The Hollywood superstar, with her signature plump lips and aquamarine eyes, is one of the most beautiful, sexy, and just drop dead gorgeous women in the whole world. Is it any wonder that she is the object of admiration and envy of so many?
A lot of celebrities have drawn inspiration from Angie’s looks and tried to make themselves look more like the 42-year-old actress. Kylie Jenner and her plastic lips, and Megan Fox and her smokey eyes and jet black hair, are just two examples that imitation is the highest form of flattery.
Taking it to another level
But when it comes to being in love with Angelina’s appearance, no-one is a bigger fan that Iranian teenager Sahar Tabar. The 19-year-old from Tehran wanted so much to look like the actress, that she went under the knife 50 times over the last few months, according to Beligian website Sud Info. She has also, allegedly, gone on a strict diet and dropped down to 40 kilos, which means she is dangerously underweight. The result is nothing short of shocking and more than a little disturbing.
Sahar has more than 300,000 followers on Instagram, most of which make fun of her transformation. She’s been called a zombie, compared to Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride, and advised to make use of a mirror. One user wrote, “Her: Doc make me look like an 8 month old corpse. Doc: Say no more.”
However, as of now, it hasn’t been verified whether or not it’s true that the teen had undergone cosmetic surgery. Many people are inclined to believe that her look is the result either of makeup, or prosthetics, or more likely, a combination of all of the above. Especially, since in a recent video she posted her nose looks significantly different, and her cheeks much plumper.
But the 19-year-old won’t let any negative criticism stop her. “Do not be afraid to be different Be afraid to be like everyone else,” she wrote on one of her pictures, and on another, “Live in your own way.”
“The greatest happiness is that we are for ourselves,” she captioned a photo which has received over 50,000 likes.
Despite the unfavourable feedback, Sahar, who still goes to school, is determined to continue on her journey and she “would do anything” to become more and more like her idol.
