Teens Wear Their Moms’ Vintage Dresses To Prom and They Look Absolutely Stunning!

prom

Choosing the right prom dress is a stressful affair for most ladies out there. Some are lucky, though, if their moms can sew it, or even better – have it in their old closet. It might seem like these dresses are old and so outdated, but what happens when these girls put them on? Magic! A real transformation takes power! BoredPanda has collected pictures of mother vs. daughter at prom wearing the same dresses. And, guess what? They are incredible!

According to PromGirl, which is the leading online Prom dress retailer in the US, one single prom night in 2017 can cost around $2000 in total! That is something that is absolutely expensive for all families to afford. Therefore, these beauties had clever minds. Their moms kept their prom outfits, and their daughters wore them with pride.

A high school senior named Ally Johnson from Hilliard, Ohio, decided to wear her mom’s gown from 1995 to her own prom. “People were shocked, they didn’t think that could have been my mom’s senior prom dress,” she told TODAY Style. “It’s a vintage, old Hollywood look.”
