Guy Plays An Insane Prank On His Girlfriend On Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day is (finally) over, which means the ones in the world who are single can stop feeling bad due to being alone. It’s time to go back to laughing at pranks gone viral.

So in the modern spirit of Saint Valentine, as you do, one guy decided to pull a tried and tested prank on his unassuming girlfriend.

Laura Marie Kerr’s boyfriend texted her a few days ago on Valentine’s Day.

He tells her that he has a surprise for her, but he doesn’t want to say what it is yet, and he insisted on telling her when he picks her up.

The 21-year-old Northern Irish girl continued to question Jay, until he decided to break the surprise.

“so remember you were telling about how you loved Paris?” says Jay’s text, which caused poor old Marie to freak out and completely splat the life out of the emoji keyboard, especially the crying one.

It didn’t stop there though, as Jay continued “that’s not all… remember when we looked up flights to Barcelona…”

At this point, Laura was in complete shock mode. She thought her boyfriend had organized a romantic trip to Paris and Barcelona.

But it wasn’t to be.

After the tease, Jay finally revealed that he planned to spend the Valentine’s evening watching the Paris SG vs. Barcelona soccer match.

Needless to say, Laura went into complete rage mode.

this boy is getting smacked into 2018 when I see him

Laura went into a comedic rant on Twitter, tweeting screenshots of the messages with her boyfriend with the caption, ‘This boy is getting smacked into 2018 when I see him’.

Despite all this, Laura happily didn’t take the whole thing as seriously as you might have thought…

Laura tweeted ‘I love my boyfriend. I am grateful for everything he does. I am lying beside him, happy & in love.’

Jay saw things differently, tweeting a response implying he’d given her the greatest gift of all this Valentine’s Day: some classic viral content.

After tweeting a picture of two mooses, he tweeted Laura saying ‘aye your welcome for the viral tweet ya fucking moose’…

But hey, what’s romance without a few practical jokes here and there?

What would you do, if you were Marie?
