If you ever watched the show Small Wonder, then you probably know that it might be one of the strangest concepts for a TV show. The storyline was that Ted Lawson who was an engineer and inventor, developed a robot to assist handicapped children. Then he brought it home to help it mature.
And the robot had to go through some changes since she was a real human kid that ages and grew up during the four seasons. Actually, the show handled this by getting Ted to give Vicki some “upgrades”.
32 years have passed since Small Wonder premiered, but have you ever wondered what little Vicki looked like these days? She had some upgrades since the 80s and now looks quite different.
Tiffany Brissette was the actress that played Vicki on the show and started acting at a very young age, at two years old only. She appeared in A Perfect Day for Banana Fish with Bob Hope before pursuing television. Then, she was cast as Vicki the robot and played her for four seasons. After the show ended she did some more parts but then decided to take a different path.
She went to Westmont College in California and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She wanted to become a registered nurse and now works in Boulder, Colorado. This is how she looks now!
How time flies, right?
