Watch What Happens Live! with Andy Cohen seems to have become the place for reality stars to deny rumors about the plastic surgery procedures they might or might not have gotten. Here are the Real Housewives who appeared on WWHL to slam rumors about changes in their appearance, despite many details pointing to the contrary in most cases.
Although she did confess to a breast enhancement and a tummy tuck in the past, the reality star vehemently denied rumors of a nose job and lip enhancement on Watch What Happens Live!, claiming the change in her features were down to genetics and pregnancies. “If I’m going to have a nose job, it’s going to be a hell of a lot shorter. It’s not going to go down in my mouth,” she told host Andy Cohen.
After a fan asked if she recently plumped her lips, Rinna also went on WWHL to deny surgery allegations. “No, it goes up and down, you know that!” she said, also denying she’d had a breast enhancement: “No, but pads are in. They’re pushing them up. It’s an illusion. I can do many things with this body.”
Bethenny Frankel Clearly also appeared on WWHL to debunk claims about her changing jawline. “I had my jaw injected with Botox because I have TMJ, and if you look at pictures of me from probably like seven years ago, it’s gradually gotten smaller to the point that I had to stop, and now it actually hurts again,” she told a fan. She also claimed the change in the appearance of her eyes was a cosmetic illusion: “When you put your eyelashes on, put the ends up a little bit and it makes your eyes look a little bit more out, so they don’t go down, but no, I have not had plastic surgery done lately.”
The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills once confessed to Oprah, “I got new lips and new breasts and changed my hair. It was anything I could do to try to become someone else,” but also told an interviewer in 2011, “A lot of people have been obsessed with the plastic surgeries with the Beverly Hills housewives, and really all we talked about was injectables, Botox and filler, and all of a sudden it’s turned into surgery, which is not the case. I have my original nose, original cheekbones, I do filler and Botox, but it’s definitely not surgery.”
Fellow RHOBH star Kyle Richards once spoke to People magazine about the subject of injectables: “I’m one of those people who thinks less is better. There are so many people who have so much done to their face. They never look better!” She added, “I’m not one of those women who is like, ‘Every wrinkle has made me who I am,’ but I’m also not the person who doesn’t want to age. My mom died young, so for me, every birthday is a reason to celebrate.”
While the former Real Housewife of Beverly Hills has confessed to breast implants and vaginal rejuvenation, she denies having done any work to her face, telling Daily Mail, “Haven’t had plastic surgery on my face ever thank you very much I’ve had fillers and Botox that’s it it’s called getting older. I used makeup in my gold look to arch my brows higher & try & make my very almond shaped eyes look rounder – it doesn’t look good – live & learn.”
The Atlanta housewife got a breast augmentation after her 2014 divorce but swears she’s done no other work. “I haven’t had any other work done except for the new girls, and I love them. I’m enjoying them, probably more than anybody!” she told Steve Harvey in 2015. One year later, however, she did go on to have a non-surgical nose job.
The Kandi Koated Nights CEO put breast augmentation rumors to rest, Instagramming a photo of herself with a few of her fellow housewives, writing, “#lostfiles from last night! @jamiefosterbrown @cynthiabailey10 @apollonida03 & I at the #Sister2Sister event. #whyilooklikeihadaboobjob #ipromiseyouidonothaveimplants.”
When a Twitter follower asked Bailey who the doctor who performed her nose job was, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star replied, “Sorry the nose was God given,” although she has openly spoke about her post-baby breast enhancement on WWHL.
On Watch What Happens Live!, Kenya denied rumors of implants, telling Andy her breasts were ‘all natural’. “They get bigger as I’m aging. If I gain, like, two pounds, it’s going to my boobs. It’s crazy. I’m, like, going up in a bra size lately,” she said. She wouldn’t, however, rule out a breast lift in the future, saying, “I might need to get ’em hiked later on. But there’s nothing wrong with a little jiggle — a little meat underneath.”
The real housewife of Melbourne told the Daily Mail Australia, “Let’s be honest here, there’s not a lot of 51-year-olds that look like me unless they are from Hollywood with surgery out of control. I’m 100 percent natural. I’ve not had anything touched on my face, contrary to what people are talking about.”
