Let go. You’ll need to let go of what I’m going to do. Don’t hold to anger, because I’m going to make fun of yoga for a while now.
He-he. I mean, let’s just look at the bright side of things for a while, shall we? I mean, some light-hearted fun never hurt anyone, as the Buddha said. And one of the healthiest exercises to achieve that is the meditation called “Laughing at yourself.”
Thanks to Bored Panda, we’ll be looking at the vast, humorous differences between our expectations about yoga – and its reality.
That is exactly what Adriana Rodríguez León did, who, by the way, is an excellent Mexican illustrator. One day, she decided to do some yoga and noticed the humorous side of her inability to perform that perfect ‘downward dog’ pose. So, “why the hell not?”, she said to herself.
“I’m gonna make some funny drawings on yoga and the assorted expectations Vs reality!” Yoga helped her a lot, and to see more of her art, feel free to follow her on her Instagram, @scarletadrianne.
And now, ready, set, and go!
But take a deep breath first.
