Brooking Beckham didn’t realize his parents were famous until he was a teenager. It’s understandable that famous people want to keep their kids away from the spotlight, but at some point, they will find out that their moms and dads are beloved actors or singers.

One day he said to his mom. “I know your name.” And the actress said, “I know.” And he said, “I know your name.” And she was like, “Okay.” And he was like, ‘Hilary Duff.'” Well, at least he didn’t say Lizzie McGuire.

2. Brooklyn Beckham realized who his dad was when attending a football game

David Beckham’s eldest child realized his father was England’s most famous soccer star when he was 13 years old and attended a football game. It was when people chanted Beckham’s name that Brooklyn understood how famous his dad is. “People were shouting my dad’s name and I was like, ‘What?! Oh, my God. I don’t look at my parents like that,'” Brooklyn said.

When paparazzi followed her and her family she said  “I thought I was the star. We were always putting on plays, and dad would do the accompaniment and mom would dress me up like a Disney princess and be filming everything.”
