Many of you might not know that, like we said before, you can treat acne and acne scars simply by using tomatoes. They are rich in vitamins that help in balancing the pH levels and regenerating the skin. Also, they contain salicylic acid which is one of the basic components in many cosmetic products.

1. Tomato face mask to cure acne

First, take out the pulp of one tomato and mix it with two drops of jojoba oil and three to five drops of tea tree oil in a bowl. Apply the mixture on your face and neck and let it dry. After that rinse it off with cold water. You could use this mask two or three times a week since the oils hydrate the skin and prevent infections.

2. Tomato face scrub to get rid of blackheads

Start mixing tomato pulp and one teaspoon of yogurt in a bowl and then add one tablespoon of oats to the mixture. Make sure there are no lumps and then warm up the mixture lightly. After that apply it on your face and neck and after ten minutes wash it off with water.
Repeat this twice a week. Oatmeal acts like a deep cleanser agent and helps in cleaning the dead skin cells and blackheads.

3. Tomato face mask for dark circles

Simply mix one teaspoon of aloe vera juice and one teaspoon of tomato pulp and apply it under your eyes. After ten minutes wash it off with water. You can repeat this every day for fast results.

4. Tomato face pack for dark spots and pigmentation

Start by mixing one tablespoon of tomato pulp and 2-3 drops of freshly squeezed lemon juice. Then apply the mixture to the dark spots and let it dry for about ten minutes before washing it off with water. Apply this mask every day. Both the lemon and tomato contain skin bleaching properties that will help you in lightening the dark spots.
