I guess many of us have dreamed, at least once, to synchronize our pregnancy with our best friends’. I mean, isn’t it awesome to be pregnant at the same time with someone who you get to spend most of your time with? It may be even with your colleagues. You get to share your symptoms with each other, and every pregnancy struggle you go through will seem easier when shared.
That’s what 8 co-workers in Anderson Hospital’s Pavilion for Women in Maryville, Illinois have gone through. Whether it is ‘a happy coincidence’ or there was something in the water, we don’t know yet. All we know is this plethora of pregnant women made headlines all over the media. They first announced they were expecting babies and their due date was almost at the same time, sharing a series of viral pictures showing their baby bumps together, to follow with pictures of their newborn babies in their arms.
The bundle of joys came into this world within four months of each other, with the final baby arriving in December.
Alongside the photo of the new mothers and their babies, in a Facebook post Pavilion officials wrote:
The Pavilion for Women had their own baby boom going…and it exploded!
It is comforting that these women work as nurses and are used to helping deliver other people’s babies.
All the newborns got their own nicknames and t-shirts: The Elite 8.
The Facebook post continued:
The Elite 8 are here and ready to rule the world!!!!!!!! Meet Anna, Reese, Logan, Holden, Daniel, Charlotte, and Charlotte…..(#3, Jewel, is not pictured.
After all, all the pain and the difficulties one goes through during pregnancy is all worth it when you see these lovely faces.
Pictured all smiles and laughs, these staff members “enjoyed sharing their pregnancy quirks and stories with each other and will continue with the fun and learning as their kiddos grow up together.”
One Facebook user commented that the picture of the two babies below reminded him of Grumpy Old Men. Ehm, I think they look rather like “The adorable newborns’.
So many babies, so many diapers, but so much HAPPINESS!
This is simply too adorable to handle!
Congratulations to ‘The Elite 8’ mothers!
