Aloe vera is an evergreen succulent plant which originated in the Arabian Peninsula but today grows wild in tropical climates. Cultivated for agricultural and medicinal use, the benefits of aloe vera are numerous and wide-ranging: from skin-whitening to dealing with acne and beyond.
