Careful Using FaceTime As New Apple Glitch Allows You To Listen Without People Knowing

This new hidden feature of Apple could really ruin many relationships. Like, seriously. I don’t know if it’s a bug or what, but you be careful when you Facetime someone. This bug that we are talking about, allows you to Facetime someone and listen in without them even answering the call. Currently, the internet is taken by storm, meanwhile, Apple is panicking and working to solve this glitch. According to CNN:

A newly discovered privacy bug in Apple’s FaceTime software allows users to hear and see the person they are calling, without the recipient even picking up.

The glitch impacts iPhones and iPads running iOS 12.1, and Apple PCs running macOS Mojave with the newly added Group FaceTime feature.

The tech company has confirmed that it started disabling the Group FaceTime feature for all users, however, the bug may still affect the one-on-one calls. Until they fix it, here’s how to disable FaceTime on your phone:

Go to Settings on your iPhone or iPad, scroll down until you see FaceTime and select it. Then, toggle off the green button at the top of the screen. To disable the app on Mac, open FaceTime and go to the top of the screen then select turn FaceTime off.

Usually, when the bug is activated, the caller is able to hear the live audio on the other person’s phone, and in some cases, the bug can even show live video of the other person if they press a volume button to dismiss the call.
