Ariana Grande Breaks Silence On Mac Miller’s Death By Her Heartbreaking Tribute

It is really weird and sad how life works. Today you might be having the most amazing day of your life, and yet tomorrow everything might end for you, forever.

Time really flies so fast, it has been one week since we lost one of the most influential musicians, Mac Miller. According to reports in the States the US music star Malcolm James McCormick, known as Mac Miller has died due to recent trouble with substance abuse. TMZ was the first one to report this sad news and reportedly authorities responded to the ‘Self Care’ rapper’s home in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles around noon. It is thought that the 26-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene from an apparent overdose.

It looks like Ariana Grande has broken her silence about the death of her ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller. In the touching video she posted of the two together she said that he was ‘the kindest, sweetest soul with demons he never deserved.’

That was not all, this is how the ‘God Is A Woman’ captioned the video:

I adored you from the day I met you when I was nineteen and I always will. I can’t believe you aren’t here anymore. I really can’t wrap my head around it. We talked about this. So many times.

I’m so mad, I’m so sad I don’t know what to do. You were my dearest friend. For so long.

She went on saying:

Above anything else. I’m so sorry I couldn’t fix or take your pain away. I really wanted to. The kindest, sweetest soul with demons he never deserved.

I hope you’re okay now. Rest.

This caption was the most heartfelt one and only shows that a tribute doesn’t have to be long, to deeply touch our hearts.

The two dated for almost two years and shortly after the pair broke up, he was arrested for driving under the influence.

One day after his death, Ariana Grande took to her Instagram page sharing a black and white picture of Mac Miller with no caption. However, this time her tribute was totally different.

Shane Powers, who was Miller’s friend has said that ‘there was no one in his life more ready to go to the wall for him than Grande.’

Powers said while recording an episode of the podcast The Shane Show:

He had a lot of good stuff going on. Ariana and him were together, very much in love and I have to say she was incredible when he was first sobering up.

She was a fucking G to him. There could not have been anybody more supportive of him being sober than Ariana. I saw that, I was around it, I took phone calls from her – ‘How do I help?’ ‘What do I do?’

This little girl was unbelievably involved and helpful to him being healthy. Because whether he’s an addict or not, the way Mac partied was not healthy.

He went further explaining:

I gotta tell you, man, there was no one in his life more ready to go to the wall for him when it came to him being sober and she was an unbelievably stabilising force in his life.

She was deeply helpful and effective in keeping Mac sober and helping him get sober and she was all about him being healthy, period, in this area of his life.
