It’s finally happening and honestly, we don’t know what to do! Marvel has released the first trailer to the sequel of Avengers: Infinity War. The last movie grossed over $2 billion in global ticket sales and it is anticipated that the next one will too. This is the fourth Avengers film, directed by Anthony Russo and Joe Russo, from a screenplay by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. This will be the final chapter in Phase Three of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The film is titled Avengers: Endgame.
In the last Avengers movies, Thanos (Josh Brolin) had obtained all six Infinity Stones. With the snap of his fingers, he wiped out half of the universe’s population. Drax the Destroyer (Dave Bautista), Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), Groot (Vin Diesel), Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), Spider-Man (Tom Holland), Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), Mantis (Pom Klementieff), Wasp (Evangeline Lilly), Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders) and the Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) turned to dust. However, Nick sent an S.O.S. to Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) to come and help the Avengers.

After all those months of waiting Marvel fans finally got something! The trailer has earned 289 million views in just 24 hours. It’s the first movie of its kind to ever reach that. The trailer provides the fans a first look of what happened after the Thanos aftermath. And how our superheroes are coping and are surviving it.
The trailer starts with Iron Man in space. He is seen recording a message for Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow). Saying to her:
Is this thing on? Hey, Ms. Potts. if you find this recording, don’t feel bad about this. Part of the journey is the end. Just for the record, being adrift in space with zero promise of rescue is more fun than it sounds. Food and water went out four days ago, oxygen will run out tomorrow morning. That’ll be it. When I drift off, I will dream about you. It’s always you.
A scene where tears are running down Captain America’s cheek comes up, saying:
We lost. All of us. We lost friends. We lost family. We lost a part of ourselves. This is the fight of our lives.
This is all too much to handle. We cannot wait to watch the movie next year. Avengers: Endgame is going to premiere in theaters on April 26, 2019.
