They say ‘It’s the little things which matter the most.’ I say they are not really little things. Such things just take what it seems little ‘effort’ or little time. They can be everything but little. Little/big things have an important impact, especially in relationships. And when it comes to relationship goals, many base them on the scintillating Hollywoodian cinematic love and unattainable grand gestures.
Marriage is something that more and more people seem to do wrong. And that’s especially noticeable in Hollywood, by those who give to us the idea of the cinematic love and unattainable grand gestures. For one reason or another, celebrities are finding it really difficult to maintain relationships, let alone a marriage.
One of the first requirements for being a good partner is to be a good human. Being a human means making mistakes, yes, but what makes the difference of who we are and become, is knowing how to take responsibility for our actions. Most of my past relationships failed because my partners couldn’t take responsibility for their actions and that’s such a turn-off, isn’t it? I mean, let’s admit it, we are all wrong sometimes. But, it’s important how we treat our mistakes. That makes all the difference. When it comes to successful relationships and marriages, we are going to keep a couple in Hollywood in the spotlight today.
We’re talking about David Beckham and his beautiful wife, Victoria. The couple celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary in July. This event took place some weeks after the couple denied breakup rumors. An interview with David aired this weekend, with Australian TV show The Sunday Project, where he talked about his marriage. Beckham said:
To have been married for the amount of time that we have, you know, it’s always hard work. It becomes a little more complicated.
In this video, we can see Victoria, 44, also talk about the past split rumors about her and David, 43. More than a month after the entire Beckham family posed for British Vogue, the video got released.
People have been making things up about our relationship for 20 years, so David and I are pretty used to ignoring the nonsense and just carrying on as normal. But these things have a wider effect on the people around us, and that’s unfair.
The English businesswoman, fashion designer, model, and singer added further:
We both realize that we are stronger together than we are as individuals. Would either of us be in the position that we are in now had we not met and been together all those years ago? We are much stronger—the six of us—than we would be if we were individuals. We respect that family bond, and that is key.

About his family’s upcoming trip to Australia, David also commented on The Sunday Project. He is an ambassador of the Invictus Games, a Paralympic-style event created by Prince Harry. He and wife Meghan Markle opened the 2018 event in Sydney as part of their first joint royal tour this weekend. The Beckhams attended their wedding in May since they are friends with the royal couple.
In an interview published in its November 2018 issue, Victoria told Vogue Australia:
The only time I’ve been [to Australia] before was with the Spice Girls, 24 hours in Sydney and Melbourne. When you’re young and traveling the world like that, you’d sit in your hotel room and watch TV. When you’re older, you want to get out and see things.
