Have you ever realized how cool is that there just happens to be one day a year where we can pretend we are someone we actually are not, and it’s not even considered weird? Another thing is that we are kinda obsessed with the Royals. So, why not take this chance and make a combination of these two; Halloween and Royals?
Wearing the scary white cloak is not the only possible go-to costume for Halloween, and having spider-eyes is not the only makeup look to choose, so why not let the royalty blood run on your veins for at least one day a year? Though, don’t forget your British accent, for a better effect.
The Royal Family, starting from the newlyweds Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to the Queen’s eldest grandchild, Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton with their young ones, has also inspired the Indiana mom, Courtney Nicole. Just recently, she has shared with her Instagram followers photos of her kids dressed like royals. She said for CafeMom that her family is kinda royal-obsessed. The chosen royal couple was Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. Take a look at these cuties, Jane, 5 and Finn, 3: (yeah, they are on the right)
“We also knew we had awesome basics from June & January that we could pull together to make the perfect mini royal outfits,” Courtney tells.
As for the outfit, Courtney added that she used clothes from her children’s everyday wardrobe. They are really comfortable to wear and of course, they can wear them again.
The funny part is that Courtney’s son found confusing why Prince Harry wasn’t Harry Potter too. I wonder the same, kiddo.
Just look at this. How cute is this?
Moving from the royal kids to the older royals. For instance, Queen Elizabeth. To hit for this look, it wasn’t necessarily needed an old lady. Another mom named Emily Chu was inspired for her next daughter’s costume from Queen Elizabeth.
So, you’re right. This little adorable girl was wearing similar clothes to the royal matriarch. She was wearing a green costume from June & January pieces, featuring a green hat, gloves, and pink flowers. And she totally put a grey wig on, too.
Emily Chu shared the pictures on Instagram late last month, captioning, “Halloween festivities start pretty early in our household and we couldn’t think of a better badass woman to celebrate 💪👑 and represent. @juneandjanuary ‘s colorful pieces make costumes so easy — just add a little imagination ☺️.”
Another mom-tot look found inspiration by the royals, not only for her toddler’s Halloween costume but also for herself. Everybody, please say hello to Prince George and Kate:
And this is Prince George:
Of course, he was accompanied by her mother, the Duchess of Cambridge. Alongside the above picture, ‘Prince George’s, mother’ wrote on Instagram: “Trying on our Halloween costumes last night and I found this Kate mask that I bought in London last summer. My husband said I looked ‘dead in the eyes’ and Prince George refused to let me style his hair. Other than that, it’s all coming together! 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧”
But really, nothing beats getting the whole family in on some seriously regal styling. Another family inspired by the Royals were blogger Liz Stanley, her husband, and her toddler. They came up recreating Kate Middleton, Prince William, and Prince George. Uhm, did Princess Charlotte took the picture?
The one who took the pictures was the photographer, Ashley Thalman.
While everybody is chatting about something, Queen Elizabeth is being all cute, waving at the crowd, and probably inspiring people like the above-mentioned for the next look.
But it’s clear that replicating their looks on Halloween couldn’t be more fun!
