Move Over Bob, This Is The Next “It” Hairstyle

Spoiler alert: Bob is not the most popular haircut of the moment. It seems crazy to believe since almost every other celebrity from Kendall Jenner to Bella Hadid gave the chin-grazing length a try this year. But as with every trend, they fade and change, and the next “it” style can be the complete opposite.

If it was for me, bob is always in style, but that’s not what the Herbal Essences celebrity stylist Bridget Brager thinks. Having regular clients such as January Jones and Kate Bosworth, the pro said:

“Most of my clients and what I’m seeing is people really wanting super long hair,”

“It’s not really a haircut trend, but it’s going against the structured thing that we’ve been doing as far as shape goes.”

So it’s safe to say we will be seeing a lot more Kim Kardashian West “Cher-Hair” moments. Brager says that a common question she is getting a lot from her clients recently is what kind of supplements they should be taking, which solidifies her prediction of the trendiest haircut.

“I think people really want their hair long and beautiful. I know a lot of my clients do.”

However, this does not mean that your favorite bob or lob haircut is out for good. In fact, Brager says:

“With the lobs and the bobs, it’s a square cut that we then go in and loosen up by taking out weight here and there

“It’s more about focusing on what’s happening around your face with the cut.”

Brager also shared some plenty of suggestions regarding styling tubes and bottles you should have. The guru revealed that she starts off with a foundation of product, in her case, the Herbal Essences Soft Control Creme Gel which is perfect to control frizz in damp hair and also scrunches it into hair to create beach waves.

WAIT FOR IT. Brager said that a dry shampoo is vital. YAY! She says she swears by the  Herbal Essences Bio-Renew Revitalize Cucumber & Green Tea Dry Shampoo which you can find in Target for $6.

“Yes, it’s a dry shampoo, and it works fabulous for that, but I use it for texture in the hair. It’s so good mid-length to ends.”
