How These 12+ Cartoon Characters Looked Like In Their First Episode VS Now

I was never fond of animation, to tell you the truth. But five years ago, I was invited to be part of an animated film festival that is held here where I live. It was during the summer so you can guess how bored I was… Deciding that it was a good way to kill some time, I said yes. And so I became part of something I didn’t like, let alone understand. But getting to watch all the short animated movies and getting to chat with the filmmakers, I realized that animation is actually a lot of fun! Especially when you learn the ‘science’ behind them. Then you spend most of the time trying to figure out the technique that was used, if the sound and visual effects are good… Ya know, the usual…

Animated movies have been around us ever since they emerged back in 1908. They are one of the quickest ways to find comfort, no matter what is happening around us. The chaotic life will pause for a few during the screening of the animated film. There are animated movies and series that we grew up with and for that, we can never be thankful enough. Although only animated cartoons, ever wondered how did these characters look in the first episode and now? I mean, Spongebob got a lot yellower, Lisa’s hair calmed down while Marge’s grew longer… It is always fun to see the development of the character as well as of the animation industry.
