The question “Any last words?” is often asked just before someone dies because people want something to remember them by. Another big question that people think is: “What would I say if I knew it was going to be the last thing to ever escape my mouth?”

A lot of celebrities are known to have left some interesting last words behind . While some are very inspiring some others are very strange. Down below there are 8 celebrities who left a last message before they passed.

1. Frank Sinatra

He passed away on May 14, 1998 when he was 82 years old. Before he die, he had been fighting his health problems when he said: “I’m losing it.” His last words are believed to be: “The best is yet to come.”


2. Heath Ledger

One of the sadder deaths in this list is probably the one of Heath Ledger. He was only 28 years old when he died from an overdose of sleeping pills and prescription medication. Some say that he got so much into his role as The Joker, it contributed to his death.

His last words are believed to be: “Katie, Katie, look…. it’ll be fine, you know, I just need to get some sleep,” spoken to his sister.

3. Paul Walker

The famous actor Paul Walker died in a car accident on his way to a promotional event for The Fast and the Furious movie series on November 20, 2013. He was riding in a Porsche when the driver and his friend Roger Rodas lost control of the car, killing them both. His last words as he hopped in the car were, “We will be back in five minutes.”


4. Whitney Houston

The singer was found unresponsive in a bathtub in a Beverly Hilton Hotel because of a drug overdose. Her last words were haunting, “I’m gonna go see Jesus, want to see Jesus.”


5. Elvis Presley

The King of Rock’n’Roll died on the toilet. He spent the days prior to his death fighting glaucoma, liver damage, high blood pressure and severe migraines. Before dying he spoke to his fiancée, Ginger Alden, “I’m going to the bathroom to read.”

6. Michael Jackson

The King of Pop suffered some health and emotional problems. He died from overdose on propofol and his last words were asking for more of the drug.

“Milk, more Milk.” Milk was what he called propofol, the drug that killed him.

Cobain committed suicide when he was high on heroin. He had trouble with his life, stating that he was also not longer happy with making music. His last words were: “It’s better to burn out than to fade away.”


8. Lucille Ball

The most iconic actress who was known for her TV series, I Love Lucy. She passed away when she was 77 year old from a ruptured aorta days after the surgery. Her last words were asking for her favorite things,  “My Florida water.”
