Looks like Celine Dion is the ultimate Lady Gaga fan.
We learned this when the 51-year-old singer was spotted living her best life at Gaga’s concert in Las Vegas, in December. And it looks like her obsession with Mother Monster continues as the songstress recently dedicated an entire essay to the Oscar winner.
Time magazine chose Gaga – real name Stefani Germanotta – as one of the most influential person for their 100 Most Influential People feature, and Dion wrote the article in honor of the singer.
“I love Lady Gaga,” Dion wrote in her essay, “and I think she’s got one of the greatest voices in the world: powerful, convincing, passionate and sensitive.”
The French-Canadian singer commended Gaga’s creativity and her ever-evolving style and work.
“She’s definitely one of the most inventive artists we’ve ever seen,” Dion praised the singer.
Her artistic expression has no rules, no boundaries. When she first came on the scene with her outrageous style, she didn’t care what the critics said.
She marched to the beat of her own drum, knowing that her message of individuality was a way to express her inner strength.
The “My Heart Will Go On” singer not only praised Gaga’s talent but also applauded her for being very open and straightforward about the social issues she holds.
What makes her even more special, and such a powerful influence on society, is that she empowers her fans to adopt the very same values in their lives—to stand up for what they believe in, despite what others might think. . . .
Whether it’s her unstoppable support for the LGBTQ community, or her anti-bullying campaigning, Lady Gaga’s voice is being heard where it really counts.
We’re sooo here for this! Women empowering women!
