On the 1st of September, this Saturday, the Italian blogger and designer, Chiara Ferragni and her fiance, the Italian rapper Federico Leonardo Lucia, officially joined in matrimony in Sicily.
So, taking into consideration the importance of the wedding dress in a wedding, Ferragni decided to work with Dior’s Creative Director Maria Grazia Chiuri to bring to life two mesmerizing wedding dresses, one for the wedding and the other one for the reception.
It’s fair to say, everyone has been mesmerized by the finished result.
Ferragni spoke about the situation, according to W Magazine, saying:
“Maria Grazia and I have supported each other for a very long time now and I wanted her to be part of one of the most memorable days in my life,”
“She is such an inspiration for me and I wanted to celebrate our bond, too.”
Ferragni said she wanted something ‘classic and timeless’. She said that the set was ‘even better’ than she expected when she saw the designs.
Reportedly creating and coming up with an idea for the dresses took more than six months.
One of the dresses contained the lyrics of Favorisca I Sentimenti, the song that her fiance wrote for her. And the shoes had ‘J’Adior Chiara’, written on the strap around the ankle.
She later changed into a minidress, to enjoy the time at the amusement park, as pictured on her Instagram profile.
“The dress is a jumpsuit, with a big amount of tulle on top,” we can hear Maria Grazia saying in the video at the beginning of the article.
The second dress contains all the personalized details that so make her whole wedding ensemble hands-down majestic!
