Out of all celebrity couples, I think it is safe to say that John Legend and Chrissy Teigen are our favorite couple of all times. They’re absolutely hilarious and very much in love with one another. Proof that they’re undeniably hilarious is their latest NBC holiday special, A Legendary Christmas. And can you imagine? A group of 24 celebrity guests appeared there, along with Kris Kardashian, Kim Kardashian West, the judge members from The Voice. Stevie Wonder was there too, all in all to simply watch the adorable couple play-fight in their TV living room.
The couple was inspired by the classic tv shows that belonged in the ’90s like Family Matters and The Fresh Prince of Bel-air, as explained in their interview with E! News. However, they somehow managed to keep it modern with the help of cool references. Her sassy self, Chrissy, came on the Voice in just her pajamas while John sang songs from his Christmas album and Derek Hough danced.
And that was not all. Santa’s role was improvised by Zach Galafinakis. They even face-timed with Kenan Thompson from Saturday Night Live! Guests like Jane Lynch, Raphael Saadiq, Megan Trainor, Darren Criss were also part of the episode.

The couple prepared mac and cheese and, as always, Chrissy didn’t hesitate to share her thoughts and opinions with us regarding her feelings. She took to Twitter to update us, saying:
I made mine on site with a portable stove and his sat cold forever. I love myself I’m the worst https://t.co/NJxPXy25hV

The best part of the episode? Well, it definitely was seeing the couple’s chemistry as they worked together. Chrissy just seemed to be channeling her social media humor (which, I bet we all know it’s super on point) while John, well, this isn’t the first time he has acted. Remember he played Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert?
Chrissy Teigen is really an oversharer on her social media accounts and we absolutely love it. Thanks to her Instagram posts, we know that she really hates her own feet. We also know how she feels about Michael B. Jordan dating. She doesn’t distort the truth from us followers. She even shares her failed attempts of making a pie. She keeps it real with all of us.
What we understood from this episode is that we really need to do something and give them their own show. Am I right, fellas?
