The New Extra Festive Holiday Trend Is The Christmas Tree Hair

The time around holidays calls for creativity. People have come up with an abundance of ideas on how to be as extra as possible this year. I, for myself, have been feeling extra festive, especially for Christmas. But, unfortunately, I am not as creative as some people out there. Nothing says I LOVE CHRISTMAS, more than diving into the Christmas Tree hair trend, right? Well, it has been a thing lately and according to Daily Mail, the look is created when “people style their hair into an upside-down cone shape, mimicking a Christmas tree before decorating their strands with ornaments.”

My only question is, how does it stay up like that? According to Daily Mail, “the style was achieved by placing an empty water bottle or cone on top of your head as a guide.” But again, how does that work? How do you keep a water bottle stable on top of your head? Daily Mail found the answer for that too, and it said that the hair, was then smoothed up over the top of the bottle or cone and held in place with a hair elastic and hair spray.”

Sure, I’d like to think that I could pull that off, but honestly, considering that I cannot even tie my hair in a high ponytail, I think it is safe to say that I would not be able to do this in a million years.

The ones who are feeling extra festive are going even greater lengths to prove it. They are even dying their hair green and attaching Christmas lights to really get the vibe of the Christmas tree.
