New Year is all about new things. While some people want to change something with their lives and they write their resolutions down or discuss them with their friends, others make changes in the interior of their house.
My favorite part is when we make DIY projects for our homes using items from thrift stores and we use them to our heart’s content. It’s all about deciding the color and texture yourself and creating these DIY projects with love.
To see some of the best DIY ideas collected in one place scroll down this article:
1. Candle Centerpiece
Straight from the thrift store.
Worry not as you can give them the color you want them to have, even make the candle holders a bit sparkly.
2. Succulent Planter
Add some planting soil and some rocks from drainage and your planter is good to go.
3. Chalkboard Tray
All it takes is a little creativity to explore with the paint and pattern you want it done.
As the paint dries, you can then write any message you want on your tray.
4. A Face Vase
You need a circle vase and spray paint.
Now your vase has a face, and it looks wonderful!
5. Teapot Planter
Probably all of has have that old teapot somewhere in our house. Why not give it a color and turn it into a planter.
6. Sweater Pillowcases
How about turning that sweater we don’t wear anymore into a beautiful pillow? It requires a bit of sewing but we can all learn how to do it, right?
