People Are Making Up ‘Game Of Thrones’ Scenarios Based On Kit And Rose’s Weddings

This Saturday, ‘Game of Thrones’ stars Kit Harrington and Rose Leslie finally tied the knot in a ceremony befitting royalty (it was held at Leslie’s family castle, the Wardhill Castle – which has been in their family for the past 900 years, apparently.) The two met during filming for the show where they played on-screen lovers and have been dating since 2012.

The couple got married in the presence of 80 of their family members and close friends. As expected, several of their ‘Game of Thrones’ co-stars were also in attendance, including Emilia Clarke, Peter Dinklage, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams and more.

With so many of the actors who portray their beloved characters on-screen present, the wedding understandably reminded the fans of a wedding from the actual show (this one, thankfully did not end like either of those weddings.)

While there is no definite date on when the show’s next and final season will be returning, we do know it is sometime next year. However, that seems to be too long to wait for the fans who have taken matters into their own hands and, using Rose and Kit’s wedding, are creating their own little Game of Thrones scenarios.

Take a look at some of them:

“Super hot” and “incestuous” should never, ever be written together in the same sentence.

Disregarding the misspelled name, this looks like it could be a pretty good fanfiction.

Some very fine observations were made.

Who can blame them, though? They’ve probably been starved for any Game of Thrones action in the long, cold eleven months since the last episode of season seven aired. And they still have a year to go until the next one airs.

However, it seems it’s all going to be worth the wait, though.

According to Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (who plays Jaime Lannister on the show), the cast has worked harder this season than they ever have before.

We’ve worked harder than ever before,” he told Variety. “We spent twice as much shooting these six episodes than we did on two full seasons before. No expense has been spared. We’ve gone all in.”

Is it 2019 yet?
