Losing weight is not an easy task, but there is something that will speed up the process – Ginger. This root that is widely used as a spice or as folk medicine is also a natural weight loss agent prescribed in Ayurveda and Chinese medicine. You can lose weight by including ginger in your diet because ginger is diuretic, but it also is good for pain, heart diseases, and diabetes. Also, it contains gingerol, which is a relative of capsaicin and piperine, the compounds that gives chili peppers and black pepper their spiciness. This compound will help you lose weight, improve lipid profile and reduce glucose and insulin levels.

According to research, ginger will also stimulate gastric emptying and antral contractions. Which means it will support proper digestion, which in turn, aids weight loss.
