One man from Peru has divorced his wife after he found out intimate photos of her with another man on Google Maps. The man was researching the best way to reach a popular bridge in Lima, the capital of Peru when he accidentally spotted a familiar figure in one of the Google Street View photos. The picture showed a woman in a white top, jeans, and heels while sitting on a bench and what appeared to be stroking the hair of a man who was lying down with his head in her lap.

The man noticed that the clothes of the woman in the picture were identical to those he had seen his wife wear, and when he looked closer, he realized it was her. The photos had been taken by a Google camera car at Puente de Los Suspiros de Barranco (Bridge of Sighs of the Ravine) in Lima, 2013. The Peruvian man then angrily confronted his wife with evidence from Google Maps, and she admitted to having had an affair. According to local news media, the unnamed couple later divorced.
The man later shared the pictures on social media, where his followers commented saying that ‘it’s a small world’ and berated the woman for not being honest with him before being caught.
With its 360-degree cameras, the Google Street View vehicles, including cars, bikes, and snowmobiles, have been able to capture locations all over the world. While we are thankful for it, as it has made our lives much easier, this has also inevitably resulted in some funny and bizarre moments captured on camera. Some included a couple having sex by a car at an unknown location, half-a-dozen people in pigeon masks in Japan, and even an armed robbery in South Africa.
