Ever since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle got their royal bash in May, all eyes were on Gwyneth Paltrow and what was considered to be the biggest wedding since the royals. However, while we expected her to ramp up the glitz, she went a little more low-key when getting married to producer Brad Falchuk after they dated for four years.
While her 75 lucky guests got invited to the intimate Hamptons wedding, A-list friends like Cameron Diaz, Robert Downey Jr., and Jessica and Jerry Seinfeld, her wedding on Saturday did not feature the star power that her March engagement party did.
Two people who missed the wedding were Beyonce and Jay-Z, who are currently on their tour called On the Run II. Beyonce and Gwyneth have become quite the friends over the years and the two got even closer due to Jay-Z’s friendship with Paltrow’s ex, Chris Martin. On the wedding day, Beyonce posted a series of photos from her concerts in San Francisco, adding that she was “so happy to be in the Bay!“
Stars that were present on Gwyneth’s engagement party but weren’t spotted at the wedding include Julia Roberts, Kate Hudson, and Reese Witherspoon. Hudson was seen in Los Angeles on Sunday. She is about to welcome her third child with her boyfriend, Danny Fujikawa.
Also, Nicole Richie who attended the star-studded bridal shower along with Cameron Diaz and Drew Barrymore missed the wedding and instead, spent her Saturday in Paris.
Two people that were nearby the celebration but were not spotted there, are Paltrow’s ex-husband and his girlfriend, Dakota Johnson. Chris Martin was instead making a regular appearance at the Global Citizen Festival in New York City’s Central Park with Dakota Johnson joining him too. The duo has been dating since late October of last year. Gwyneth and Chris Martin announced their separation back in 2014 after being married for ten years. They share two children together, Apple and Moses.
