The Modern Adventures Of Han And Kylo: A Hilarious Star Wars Comic

It’s finally here! The new Star Wars movie is out! Well, actually it’s been out for a little over a week now, and the general consensus is that… umm, well, let’s just say it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. Some people like it, some people hate it, but we’re not going to go into details. So you can continue reading this article without worrying, you will find no spoilers here.

However, in honor of the release, we decided to share with you these hilarious Star Wars-inspired comics. The Force Awakens, the first installment of the latest trilogy, released two years ago, saw the introduction of a new villain. Kylo Ren is a completely different kind of baddie. The long black hair, the all-black clothes, and his angsty and whiny ways have inspired the creation of the Emo Kylo Ren Twitter account (if you haven’t checked it out, do it, it’s hilarious).

But the tweets of a perpetually misunderstood teen Kylo aren’t the only byproduct of the Star Wars reboot. Tumblr user and self-proclaimed Star Wars nut, Mamalaz, has created a whole series of comics titled The Modern Adventures of Han And Ben. As we know, Kylo Ren’s real name is Ben Solo; he’s Princess Leia and Han Solo’s son. Using footage of actors Adam Driver, Harrison Ford, and Carrie Fisher from previous installments movies, Mamalaz shows us what it would look like if Han and Leia were raising an emo little Sith in modern times. Suffice to say, the results are hysterical!

Here are 13 of Mamalaz’s finest works, courtesy of 9gag.

3. When you feel comfortable only in one set of clothes

4. When you’ve had a bit too much whine

8. You think this is a game, boy?
