As Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are poised to marry sometime in May of 2018, the world is falling more and more in love with them.
As Providr tells it though, one of the favorite puzzles for the public lately has been the question of the best man for the wedding. Will Prince Harry have his brother as his best man, or someone else? If he does so, he will be returning the favor, because his brother, Prince William, had Harry in that significant role for his wedding back in 2011.
The wedding will take place at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, which is reportedly one of Queen Elizabeth’s favorite venues. A month before that, sometime in April of 2018, Kate Middleton and Prince William are supposed to have their third baby as well. So, it will be a couple of very eventful months for the Royals.
Having a ‘Best Man’ is not actually common in Britain, with Prince William breaking tradition when he gave his brother that honor back in 2011.
Are they discussing the best man role? Who knows.
Marlene Koenig, an expert on all matters royalty, said: “The best man or best men are officially called supporters. William will probably be Harry’s supporter.”
But will he?
Okay then. So, while Prince William might not actually be called the ‘best man’ he will probably still have a very similar role.
Because you know, tradition.
What’s even more, in 2011 Harry was in charge with planning his brother’s so-called ‘Stag Party’ (what Brits say when they mean ‘Bachelor Party’). Probably William will return the favor now, and plan Harry’s Stag Party.
Stag Party you say my chap?
Prince William recently shared his thoughts about his brother’s decisions.
“We’re very excited and delighted for them both, and wish them all the happiness in this very exciting time,” he said.
Finally, he added: “For me, personally, I hope it means he stays out of my fridge and will stop him scrounging my food, which he’s done for the last few years.”
