10 Home Remedies To Help You Grow Thick Eyebrows Naturally

1. Castor Oil

You have probably already heard of the benefits of castor oil. It works wonders on hair because it promotes hair growth with the help of the proteins, vitamins, fatty acids, and the antioxidants that it contains which nourish the hair follicles.

All you need is a cotton ball and the oil. Take the cotton ball and soak it in pure castor oil. Then, gently dab the cotton ball in each eyebrow to apply it. With the help of your fingertips, gently massage your eyebrows for two to three minutes. You can leave this on for 30 minutes, or even overnight. When you want to wash it off, use lukewarm water and a mild cleanser. Repeat this every day and you’ll achieve results in no time.

NOTE: If you notice any kind of irritation, please stop using castor oil.

2. Coconut Oil

The benefits of coconut oil are plentiful. Your skin benefits from it, your hair, even your overall health. Coconut oil is a quick and effective way to achieve thick eyebrows. It is all due to its properties, which include nutrients such as vitamin E and iron. Coconut can also make your eyebrows darker.

Warm your coconut oil a little bit and apply it to your eyebrows with the help of your fingertips. Massage them thoroughly and gently in order to boost the blood flow. Leave it on overnight and then rinse it off will warm water. Apply coconut oil every night for one or two months and you will see results.

3. Olive Oil

Olive oil is high in Vitamin E, which is directly related to hair growth. So, if you want to achieve dark and thick brows, olive oil is one way to go do it. Apply olive oil to your brows with the tip of your fingers, massage them for 5 minutes and leave it on overnight, and then, in the morning rinse it off with lukewarm water.

Another way to make use of olive oil is to mix 1/2 teaspoon of olive oil and add a few drops of honey to prepare the mixture. Apply it to your brows and massage them thoroughly. Rinse the mixture off after 30 minutes.

4. Onion Juice

Yes, onion juice. It promotes faster hair growth due to the fact that it has sulfur, which promotes the production of collagen tissues. All you need to do is grind one small onion and take its juice and then apply it to your eyebrows. Massage the hair for at least five minutes. You should leave it on until the juice dries and then wash it off with cold water. Apply this every day for a few weeks until you reach the desired result.

5. Egg Yolk

The hair growth is promoted with the help of protein, and what better source of protein than eggs? It can even improve the health of your hair, turning your eyebrows into the thick ones you’ve always desired.

Take one egg and get rid of the egg-white. Then, beat the yolk until you create a thick, creamy consistency. With the help of a cotton ball, apply it to your eyebrows and leave it on for 20 minutes. After you’re done, wash it off with cold water.

Use this once or even twice a week for results.

6. Fenugreek Seeds

Fenugreek seeds are high in protein, nicotinic acid, and lecithin. All of these ingredients promote hair growth and they also contribute to rebuilding hair follicles. What you need to do is soak one teaspoon of fenugreek seeds in water for at least 5 hours. Then, you grind the seeds and form a thick paste and then add a little bit of coconut oil. Apply the mixture to your eyebrows and leave it on overnight. In the morning, rinse it off with warm water. You can repeat this procedure two to three times a week and you will see results in just two months.

7. Aloe Vera

Aloe vera is one of the many plants that have plenty of benefits. It has enzymes that nourish hair follicles and helps eyebrows grow faster. What you need to do is take an aloe vera leaf and extract its gel. Then, apply it to your eyebrows and leave the gel on for 30 minutes and then rinse it off with lukewarm water.

You can also try and mix half a teaspoon with aloe vera gel and add a little honey. Apply it to your eyebrows and leave it on for 30 minutes. Rinse it off with warm water.

8. Lemon

Lemons are high in vitamin C and B. They also have other nutrients such as folic acid which promotes hair growth. Take a slice of lemon and gently rub in over your eyebrows. Leave the juice on for 15 to 20 minutes before washing it off with lukewarm water.

NOTE: Try avoiding the sun for 2 hours after using lemon as it can cause the hair of your eyebrows to grow lighter.

9. Milk

Since milk is high in proteins, it promotes hair growth. You can achieve thick eyebrows in no time with the help of our favorite dairy product. Dip a cotton ball in a plentiful amount in a bowl. Dab it gently over your eyebrows and allow it to dry before washing it off with warm water.

To have healthy eyebrows, you also need to eat healthily. With that we mean eat foods that are high in vitamins and proteins, the two things that aid every process that goes on in our body. Here is a list of things you should add to your diet – if you don’t consume them already:

Eat foods high in vitamin A like red pepper, sweet potatoes, and carrots.
Eat foods high in vitamin C like lemons, peppers, broccoli, papayas, and oranges.
Eat foods high in vitamin E like almonds, peanuts, basil, spinach, and olives.
Eat foods rich in protein like cheese, tofu, beans, lentils, and yogurt.
Eat foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids like avocados, walnuts, olive oil, and salmon.
Eat foods rich in iron like milk, fish, green vegetables and lean cuts of meat.
