Instagram Influencer Is Sharing Her Weight Loss Transformation Journey After Losing 312lbs In Two Years

Changing an unhealthy lifestyle is not an easy thing to do. Especially since eating habits are most of the time developed over childhood and into adult life, making them pretty hard to break.

There are many reasons why you should get your body back on track, with health being the chief one. But surely, the rise of Instagram has also affected the way we view our bodies. The “genetically-blessed” are making good money from their good looks, be it by advertising some kind of charcoal toothpaste, or detox teas. If you’re fit, it’s very likely you can become an Instagram model.

Lexi Reed is an Instagram influencer who is also using social media to document her weight loss journey, after losing 312lbs over the course of two years. She shared with her followers the surgery she recently underwent to remove 7lbs of excess skin from her butt, thighs, and stomach.

Speaking of the surgery, Reed wrote:

This surgery is something that is not easy for me to do as it means I have to take off time from the things I love, my work, my workouts, my routine, my life, and my many responsibilities. However, I know that it’ll be worth it.

She also described the surgery, writing:

Drain life. I’m not going to tell you I’ve felt great because to be honest I’ve been in pain the last few days more than in my entire life. The surgery I had was a major surgery and I am so swollen plus so sore over my entire body that I cant pull myself out of bed without being lifted by @discoveringdanny.

Lexi also told her followers she is determined to take care of her body and heal at her ‘own pace.’ Fortunately, she is getting better every day, and she’s even overcoming her ‘fear of needles and accepting the shots.’

I know I have to be strong because there are too many counting on me for me to be weak. One day all of these struggles will be worth it. Thank you for all your support and dealing with me while I heal!
