Oh, no! I don’t think we are ready for this yet!
Jason Momoa, what have you done? The Aquaman actor uploaded a YouTube video on Wednesday where he shared the moments of himself while shaving his beard. Yes, the very famous beard. During the clip, Momoa admits that he hasn’t shaved for a really long time:
I think 2012 is the last time I shaved.
While he is saying his farewell to his facial hair, he says goodbye to his most iconic roles in Game of Thrones and DC.
Goodbye Drogo. Goodbye Arthur Curry.
As you might be wondering, why is the reason he decided to do this? Well, Jason says he is hoping to promote a healthier planet and bring more awareness to recycling.
Most importantly, I just want to do this to bring awareness that plastics are killing our plane. And if we have a solution, I don’t want to bitch about it. There’s only one thing that can really help our planet and save our planet as long as we recycle—and that’s aluminum.
Momoa revealed he has created his own line of canned water to help promote the cause. In the video, he encourages people to “clean up” saying:
Aquaman is trying to do the best he can—for my kids, for your kids, for the world. Clean up the oceans, clean up the land. Love you guys.

After shaving all his beard off, Momoa’s face says it all. He might need to get used to his new look, right?
Maybe with his new look, his character from Game of Thrones might come back? (One can only hope.) However, his DC character is rocking it out there. Aquaman has grossed a total of roughly $887 million!
