It is being speculated that Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin have secretly just got married after two months of being engaged, and we can’t brace ourselves anymore.
According to PEOPLE, the 24-year-old singer and the 21-year-old model tied the knot Thursday in New York City. A source close to the alleged newlyweds told to PEOPLE, “They went ahead and did it without listening to anyone.”
Another source confirmed to PEOPLE that Justin and Hailey were legally married at the courthouse, and the religious ceremony is going to happen soon, saying: “They’re going to have a big blowout, in front of God and everyone they love.”
According to a picture provided by TMZ, Justin and Hailey were spotted walking into a courthouse on Thursday where marriage licenses are issued. The pop star apparently got emotional during the visit and didn’t hold back to tell his fiancée, “I can’t wait to marry you, baby.” Bieber also thanked a court official for “keeping it on the DL.”
The source also talked to PEOPLE about the quiet nuptials the couple prefers to have:
They don’t want a long engagement and are already planning their wedding.
As of now, they want a small ceremony with their families. They are not planning a huge, celebrity wedding. They are getting married for love and don’t want a flashy wedding.
Whereas, when speaking for The Cut magazine, Hailey mentioned a potential wedding venue she would like to have, “I just picture lights strung everywhere. I think having it in the woods would be so beautiful.”
Whereas, when speaking about bridesmaids and flower girl, she said: “My sister will be my bridesmaid. I was hers last years. And maybe Justin’s little sister as a flower girl.”
Being 21 years old, Hailey doesn’t consider her age an obstacle in getting married, by addressing how her family members got married young.
My sister was 24 when she got married, and my parents also got married when they were young, too.
I see no reason to wait. When you know it’s right, it’s right.
She also told the magazine that her parents support her decision.
I said to them, ‘You’d stop me if you didn’t think this was the right decision, right?’ And they didn’t.
It was TMZ the first to report the news about the proposal of Justin to Hailey on July 7 while in the Bahamas during dinner at a local restaurant.
Whereas, days later the couple shared the news themselves via social media, with Justin writing in the caption: “Was gonna wait a while to say anything but word travels fast, listen plain and simple Hailey I am soooo in love with everything about you! So committed to spending my life getting to know every single part of you loving you patiently and kindLY.”
He added, “I promise to lead our family with honor and integrity letting Jesus through his Holy Spirit guide us in everything we do and every decision we make…”

However, don’t y’all get so excited about these lovely birds tying the knot, as the 21-year-old model quickly shut down wedding speculation with a tweet. She wrote, “I understand where the speculation is coming from, but I’m not married yet!”

Maybe Hailey doesn’t consider a civil ceremony as important as a real wedding after all.
