Women Are Sharing Side-By-Side Post-Delivery Photos Of Them Vs. Kate Middleton And The Results Are So Funny

When Kate Middleton posed for pictures with her hair and makeup done just seven hours after giving birth on Monday, the internet was very opinionated and of course, divided. One side of the internet had people who thought that the photo sent a very unrealistic message to women about how their bodies should “bounce back” after pregnancy. The other side of the internet were people who said that we shouldn’t take these pictures so seriously as Kate is a royal and has access to resources that make something like this look easy. And her public figure comes with responsibilities that most women simply don’t have. No one is saying who is right or wrong, but new moms are clearly having fun with it. A lot of women who just gave birth shared side-by-side photos of themselves seven hours after their delivery vs. Kate Middleton seven hours after. The results are hilarious and very relatable.

One mom captioned the side-by-side photo of herself vs. Kate, writing:

Expectation vs Reality

Another woman jokingly captioned her postbirth picture, writing:

I mean, I know she had help to look that good but I would’ve needed a mortician that specializes in putting make up on corpses and industrial quantities of sanitary wear.

And another mom from Pennsylvania wrote:

Everyone is praising Kate Middleton for being photographed hours after giving birth. It made me go back through old pictures of when I had my first, and it turns out Kate isn’t the only one with #postbirthphotos. Who’s the princess now??? #royalbaby

It’s important to emphasize the fact that there is no right or wrong way to look before, during, or after a pregnancy.
