Kaylee Bonnett’s 169-Pound Weight Loss Had An Incredible Effect On Her Face

Having a will strong enough to change something is really important, especially if we are talking about something that is really difficult to change; some bad habits for instance like consuming junk food. Pretty much all of us know enjoy those “unhealthy” but so damn tasty foods. However, thanks to the Internet, we have seen a lot of people that were overweight once in their lives but have managed to make some healthy changes and achieved unbelievable transformations.

Without further ado, it’s time to be impressed with this incredible transformation story that proves that nothing is impossible with great will, dedication and determination.

Kaylee Bonnet form San Diego, at 5 feet 9 inches, weighed 481 pounds before. “Kids and adults [would] say awful things to me in public and give me dirty looks like I was a circus animal,” Kaylee confesses — one reason why she stopped leaving her house alone. “I was constantly on the defense.”

In high school, she weighed 300 pounds and everyday life became a constant struggle.
“Day to day, life was a constant struggle,” Kaylee says. “From worrying about if I’ll fit in this chair or if the chair will hold me, to trying to look nice and hoping that getting from point A to B doesn’t make me sweat my hair and makeup off, I was constantly on the defense.”

In her mid-20s, she was pre-diabetic with high blood pressure, and her doctor inevitably warned her that she’d suffer a heart attack or stroke if she doesn’t make some changes and do something about her weight.”I didn’t want to die,” Kaylee says, but she knew she had to make some changes to prevent that: “You don’t get to go through life being 481 pounds,” she explained.

Before getting a gastric bypass surgery she had to lose 30 to 40 pounds. Kaylee started following a high-protein, low-carb diet and she started waking every day. When the time for surgery came, in October of 2016, she lost almost 77 pounds in less than five months.

Kaylee explains the pain after the two weeks that followed her surgery: “It felt like tugging on my stomach, and it was hard to walk.” She cut out high-fat foods and limited her daily intake at 800 calories. Also, she goes to Crossfit more than three times a week.

Having dropped 169 pounds, she doesn’t want stop since she wants to reach her goal weight of 225 pounds.

She shares her incredible transformation on her Instagram account @fatgirlfitness_rny that has nearly 30k followers to date. As you can notice in the pictures, it is really incredible what she managed to achieve. Losing weight has, of course, affected the appearance of her body, but what is the most impressive is the drastic effect its had on her face.

Now that is an incredible transformation.

“The reactions of others is what surprises me, and it helps me see the change. The weight loss has truly changed my life,” she says. “I’m actually living life, which I wasn’t [doing] before.”
