Aren’t Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban one of the cutest couple among celebrities? I think they are. They seem very loving and supportive of each other. During the 2018 CMA Awards on Wednesday, November 14 they shared with the world a very intimate moment with the world. Both have been seen crying. But they really had a reason since Urban took home the prize Entertainer of the Year.
It was pretty clear that when the presenter, American singer, Lionel Richie called out Urban’s name the couple was very shocked. Before he took the stage, they shared a long embrace, with the 51-year-old Big Little Lies star adorably rubbing her husband’s back and telling him “I love you so much.”
Watch a heartwarming video below:
Urban who is now 51-years-old began his acceptance speech by wiping away his tears. Watching at her husband speak, we could notice pride in Kidman’s glance. She also had watery eyes herself. Urban said:
Baby girl, I love you so much, thank you. I’m shocked, beyond shocked.
The singer gave a special shout-out to the pair’s daughters too, Sunday, 10, and Faith, 7. Pointing out Kidman again, he added:
Our girls at home, Fife and Munchkin, I love you. Thank you for supporting Daddy and loving me through all of what I do. Same with you, baby girl. You make it all worthwhile.
Here’s a picture of Kidman having watery eyes.
And here’s a picture of Urban wiping his tears away.
Urban didn’t forget to mention his father too. Here’s what else the singer noted during his speech:
Above all, just God, I thank you so much for the blessings of this. I wish my dad was alive to see this, but I think he’s watching over me tonight. And I just feel very, very blessed, very grateful that I get to do what I do and thank you to all of you for coming out and God bless country music. God bless you all.
It’s important to be noted that, for the night’s top honor, Urban beat out Chris Stapleton, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, and Kenny Chesney.
